Introduction:
There are plenty of books/research papers available for valuing intellectual property. The recent M&A activities relating to Nortel, Motorola Mobility etc have increased interest in the space of IPR valuation, triggering the interest of law firms, bankers etc. However, the SME IPR space (Honeybee network etc) does not have much research work, and there is little data available for benchmarks, and learning from past errors.

Objective:
Help streamline the valuation methodologies and licensing terms of the patent acquisition process of HoneyBee network.

Methodology:
 Legal cum financial analysis of licensing agreements.
 Will focus on sample of 10 agreements
 Explore different licensing models/improvements.
 Explore contractual structures to maximize combined value for inventor and NIF, which will
maximize the economic interest for all parties(NIF/Inventor/Companies) to do their best.

Output
 Draft contractual terms of licensing and
 a set of guidelines based on sample of other licensing agreements. This will help learn from
previous best practices and mistakes in the field.
 IF TIME PERMITS:- try to find licensing opportunity for some technologies.
